Handcrafted oak and glass coffee table with brass accents in living room

A Dialogue

in Oak and Glass

I designed this table as a dialogue between materials. The warmth of white oak meets the depth of black steel, brought together with subtle brass accents. Each detail is carefully balanced, allowing contrasts to feel harmonious.

The rhythm of the vertical oak slats was inspired by architecture. They bring structure, but also movement, making the piece more than just functional — a presence within the room.

When I work with glass, I like it to feel weightless yet anchored. Here, the smoked glass surface floats between oak and steel, giving a sense of lightness without losing strength. It invites touch, reflection, and daily use
